Lambda Dade Clubhouse Monthly Board Meeting

 For August 17, 2005

 

Board members present: Suzanne, Derek, Marco, Donna, Tommy, Craig, Joe McQ, Steve B

Board members not present: Bob P, Todd

Lambda members present: Chris, John R, Barry

 

Craig V. opened meeting at 7:05pm with the Serenity prayer

 

Secretary’s Report: accepted with changes.

 

Treasurer’s Report:  Tommy presented treasurer’s report for July:

(See attached report) Joe McQ moved to accept; accepted unanimously

Membership Report: Derek/Marco working to make letter for members

 

Literature Report:  None

 

Housekeeping Report: 

  • Property Management (Pinnacle) has potential trash issue with clubhouse – board will follow up, until resolution, notice to coffee person will be posted at coffee bar warning with contact information.

  • Cleaning will happen every other Saturday

  • Victor helping Todd with maintenance – need to consider future maintenance service as Todd prepares to leave.

 

  • Painting/cleanup day will be lead by Hernan and Todd. – No date yet.

  • Windows still need to be cleaned and flag hung – Bob P.

  • Birthday board needs to be re-done – Joe McQ will spend less than $50 to replace.

 

Fundraising Report: None. Elected Juan Carlos as committee chair

 

Old Business

 

Repayment by Ken M:  Repayment resumes in August – Joe McQ will follow up in 2 weeks after surgery.

Not-for-profit: need to be taken care of within 10 days. Craig will call Barry

 

New Business

  • Craig V voted in as President; Steve B as Vice President; Juan Carlos as Fundraising Chair.

  • Break-ins to members cars outside clubhouse – all incidences need to be reported to police to have something done

  • Isabel and Vicki want to start Noon meeting Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning first week in September; Joe motioned to accept, approved unanimously.
